It's been a few days since I've written anything, but I'm still here. Truth is the past few days have been filled with unpacking boxes and setting up furniture.. nothing too exciting.

But, I couldn't let the morning go by without commenting on yesterday's death of Michael Jackson.

While Jackson's life was filled with controversy, one can't deny the impact he made on not only pop music, but the entire musical world. I suppose the silver lining here is that Jackson likely wouldn't have created anything new that set the world on fire.. so his contributions to the world were complete.

Still I can't help but be intrigued with what went on in his life. He was truly one of the most bizarre people ever in the spotlight, and I wonder what we'll start to hear about him now that he's gone. The next couple weeks should be interesting.
